Cindy Merriweather launched Merriweather Travel after 18 years in the finance and banking industries. Her previous business experience as a CPA, her organizational skills and attention to detail all prepared Cindy to excel as a travel agent. Cindy’s passion to help people and her love of travel inspires her work. “I enjoy helping people experience other cultures whether stateside or abroad.” explains Merriweather, “Our clients’ travel experiences bring them closer to the world.”

We work with honeymooners, families, church groups and small businesses. Our clients say that we save them time by eliminating the hours of research needed to put together all the trip details, and we save them money by leveraging the partnerships with preferred suppliers. We have negotiated favorable rates for accommodations, ground and air transportation, travel packages, cruises and more, which we pass along to our clients.

Outside of the business, Cindy Merriweather loves to travel, and does so regularly. This enables her keep up with great destinations, and all the details necessary to plan a seamless trip for families, individuals and groups. She is also active in the American Society of Travel AGENTS (ASTA), attends several travel conferences each year, participates in familiaration (FAM) trips annually, and reads professional and travel periodicals regularly.

When she is not planning travel for others or traveling herself, Cindy is active in her church where she serves as Treasurer, overseeing a $4 million budget. She enjoys quiet time alone reading, and spending time with her husband and son.
